Dr. Fernau can perform these procedures in the office where the patients receive “nerve blocks” during surgery when they are asleep, which means the pain cycle is controlled from the very beginning.

The average facelift done today lasts ten to fifteen years and follow-up procedures can be performed to keep you looking as good as you can for even many more years.

Face Lift Before & After

The best candidates are men and women whose face and neck have started to sag but have good skin elasticity. Strong and well-defined bone structure is also a plus. Facelifts have been successfully performed on patients in their 70s and 80s.

Bruising usually fades within two weeks and after a few days you will be permitted to wear camouflage makeup. After the recuperation period many of our patients say, “I wish I’d done it sooner."
